It has been a long time since our last entry. We finally got a grip of ourselves and found the time to write a new entry. So here it goes.

From A Cold Day in the Sun

Last weekend was a sunny and warm fall day. A perfect day to spend outside. We rode our bikes to the Stadtwald, a forest nearby, and went for a walk in the woods. Kicking dry leaves on the ground and enjoying the colorful leaves on the trees we strolled through the forest. Later on we found our way to a coffee place where we had something to drink outside in the sun. Unfortunately, many people had the same idea and it was a bit crowded. The coffee place is in the middle of the countryside and has a little pet zoo around it. There are little piggies, goats, chicken, cats, and a dog. We also saw a couple of peacocks walking on the roof of the cafe.

After finishing our refreshing drinks we biked on discovering new roads around Oldenburg. Close to a lake we saw a donkey. Nina was fascinated about this creature and fed with grass for a while. After the donkey we headed home and were pleased about the nice time out.
